Earlier this month, Nate hosted a breakfast at the LG Studio test kitchen in Manhattan to celebrate the launch of the 2016 collection that’s hitting stores nationwide right now. As LG Studio’s Artistic Advisor, Nate’s been closely involved in the design and inspiration process behind the new appliances, so to get to show them off in such a grand setting – to such an fun and fantastic crowd – was a true treat.
Media guests were wowed by the new offerings – single- and double-wall ovens, gas cook tops, and more, all built to include Nate’s signature style, as well as top-performing function.

The decor, of course, was all Nate: a summer-inspired palette with greenery, air plants, and blush tones, accented by bold, geometric patterns. He brought in accessories from his collection available at Target, custom runners using his fabric collection available at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, and more stunning details to bring a highly-personal, high-style feel.
A behind-the-scenes peek at Nate and Athena setting the scene to be inviting and scrumptious. As Athena said in her blog post about the event: “Nate gets the importance of a well-planned, enduring kitchen, and most of all, he understands sophistication surrounding design.”
Nate digs in to the meal with a table full of influencers, all chatting about design, great meals, and the thoughtful details of the LG Studio appliances.
And of course, we can’t skip a photo of the delectable meal. A whipped ricotta tartine with honey and rose, a goat cheese and spring greens frittata, and beet-cured salmon topped with dill sprigs. Can you tell we’re still thinking about the deliciousness?
