The Design Behind andSons Chocolatiers

hidden

Nate’s firm was tapped to design the new and updated Beverly Hills outpost of andSons, second generation chocolate shop. The design needed to reflect the heritage of the brand, while also taking into account the modern evolution and distinctly Californian approach to chocolate making. The result is a chic and modern space, filled with whimsical details. Case in point, the hand-painted ceiling mural of a colorful cacao tree by Maggie Lochtenberg. The mural is full of meaningful surprises: the artist mixed chocolate into the paint, and tucked in the third generation’s names among the leaves and branches.
