Nate Berkus Associates New York is looking for a Project Manager to provide direct support to the Director, Senior Project Manager, Partner and Principal.
What You Will Do
- Primarily work on high-end residential projects and occasionally work on hospitality or commercial jobs
- Will be involved from the very beginning stages of the project through fruition and in direct communication with architects, builders, and contractors
- Execute project designs from start to finish
- Be responsible for detailed millwork and cabinetry drawings
- Space planning and preparation of floor plans, renderings/sketches (as needed)
- Oversee selections and specifications of all FF&E
- Prepare and manage contractor scope of work
- Produce construction proposals and bids
- Site surveys and measuring
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Forward-facing client communication
- Assemble construction and finish schedules
- Oversee and manage project management assistants and design assistants
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Designer/Project Manager in the design field
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related project management field
- Ability to work with a degree of accuracy of timing
- Organization, efficiency, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines are essential
- Great problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Advanced proficiency in CAD, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Studio Designer is a plus
- Comfortable traveling to local and out-of-state job sites

Spring Intern | New York
Nate Berkus Associates New York is looking for an intern for the spring semester beginning in March 2025. The position would require 3-5 days of work per week.
Responsibilities include maintenance of the sample library, assisting Designers and Design Assistants with pricing, quotes, and selection of materials which may require trips to vendor showrooms. Other duties may include CAD, drafting, and entry of specifications into our design tracking program, assisting with preparation of presentations as well as filing and other administrative duties. Proficiency in Photoshop and PC/Windows is a plus.
