Your Role

Nate Berkus Associates New York is looking for a Project Manager that would provide direct support to the Senior Project Manager, Partner, and Principal.

 

What You Will Do

- Prepare floor plans, renderings/sketches (as needed) and presentations
- Create new floor plans
- Check selections in preparation for meetings & complete final signoff
- Create elevations for meeting prep
- Create custom shop drawings for vendors
- Dimension plans for Design Directors
- Final print drawings for meetings
- Update CAD files post meeting to reflect client final selections
- Gather pricing and samples of materials
- Attend Client meetings and site visits
- Assemble and organize various schedules for Contractors and Architects
- Assist Design Directors and Project Management Director with all tasks

Your Qualifications

- 3+ years’ experience as a Designer in the design field
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related project management field
- Ability to work with a degree of accuracy of timing
- Organization, efficiency, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is essential
- Great problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Advanced proficiency in CAD, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Nate Berkus Associates Chicago is looking for an intern for the Winter semester beginning in January 2023. The position would require 2-3 days of work per week.

Responsibilities include maintenance of the sample library, assisting Designers and Design Assistants with pricing, quotes, and selection of materials which may require trips to the Merchandise Mart. Other duties may include CAD, drafting, and entry of specifications into our design tracking program, assisting with preparation of presentations as well as filing and other administrative duties. Proficiency in Photoshop and PC/Windows is a plus.
