Celebrity Beyond - Sunset Bar

Nate’s role as Travel Ambassador for Celebrity Cruises broadened in 2022 with the debut of Celebrity Beyond, in which Nate and his firm designed the expanded Sunset Bar. Nearly twice as large as previous versions of the Sunset Bar on other Celebrity ships, the goal was to make it feel like a destination onboard. Inspired by Nate’s travels and international beach clubs in Europe, Mexico, and South America, the Sunset Bar is all about casual elegance at sea. Design elements include timeless materials like terracotta, bronze, brass, and wood, with a covered pergola entrance that feels like a portal for guests to enter through.

The Sunset Bar enjoys almost 360-degree views, and provides the perfect atmosphere for guests to relax with a cocktail – on a daybed or at the bar. The travel-inspired space features patterned floor tiles, an arched colonnade, and custom Kravet fabrics based on Greek key motifs which are a nod to Celebrity’s maritime history.
