    LA QUINTA

Ray Romano, beloved American comedian, producer and filmmaker, and his wife Anna, approached us to collaborate on a ground-up build in La Quinta, CA. The house was designed entirely over the course of the pandemic beginning in 2020 and took nearly three years to complete. We looked to Anna’s Sicilian heritage and the simplicity of rural Italian farmhouse architecture and began to blend those elements with contemporary American ideas. Every finish was thoughtfully selected, and the layout and distribution of all interior and exterior spaces were carefully considered. Creating a style and a vernacular that served this dynamic family while respecting the local climate was one of the firm’s most exciting projects to date.
