Where would Nate Berkus Associates be without Lauren Buxbaum Gordon? After 17 years with the firm – she started as an intern right out of college, and 3 weeks in, Nate offered her a job! – it’s safe to say she’s never looked back. And so, it was a natural next step to name Lauren as the first and only Partner at Nate’s eponymous design firm.

Lauren has long led the day-to-day operations at NBA, headquartered in Chicago, while designing high-profile interiors for such recognizable names as Karlie Kloss and Katie Lee, as well as a roster of other high profile clients, whose names Lauren promises “she will take to her grave.” While Lauren calls it a “full-circle moment,” Nate said that the promotion didn’t even register as a decision, it just made so much sense for the evolution of the design firm.
