We acquired the collection because of it's beauty, but not knowing anything about it. After extensive research, in 2018 we are proud to present all these pieces to the public, and very happy to be able to determine it's authorship: Acácio Gil Borsoi, an architect born in Rio that moved to Recife in the early 1950s. His body of work spans through decades and it is of extreme importance for the diffusion of modernist architecture in the Northeast region of Brazil.
All the pieces were custom-made to members of the Ribeiro Coutinho family, one of the richest and most influential families of Paraíba on those days. Their uniqueness and boldness make them amazing statement unique pieces.
